Both are experienced white water paddlers and have##pidorpidor## covered and photographed over 40 rivers in Canada and the##pidorpidor## United States. In addition George is a professional##pidorpidor## photographer and cinematographer with over 30 years##pidorpidor## experience. ##pidorpidor##
##pidorpidor## Wilderness Bound Video Productions grew out of their##pidorpidor## Wilderness Bound guiding and tripping business created in##pidorpidor## 1986. Originally the business gave instruction in White##pidorpidor## Water Paddling and then progressed into guiding##pidorpidor## wilderness trips in Ontario and Quebec. By 1988##pidorpidor## Wilderness Bound was guiding in the Great Smokey##pidorpidor## Mountains of the Carolinas in March and moving north to##pidorpidor## the Arctic Regions of Canada by July. Throughout this##pidorpidor## period Barbara and George photographed extensively, so##pidorpidor## much so, that by 1992 they decided that it was time to##pidorpidor## change to video. Since then they have videoed every river##pidorpidor## that they have paddled, trying to record them in their##pidorpidor## pristine state, before the advances of civilization spoil##pidorpidor## them for ever. These videos give the viewer an excellent##pidorpidor## idea of conditions on the rivers. They also show the##pidorpidor## range of scenery in superb imagery and display a wide##pidorpidor## range of flowers and vegetation. Wildlife can often be##pidorpidor## difficult to film on canoe trips because of its natural##pidorpidor## elusiveness and shyness but in spite of that every effort##pidorpidor## has been made to document its activity on the trip##pidorpidor## without resorting to (or cribbing from) stock footage.##pidorpidor##

It should be remembered that extreme##pidorpidor## caution should be taken when paddling all rivers, as##pidorpidor## conditions, temperatures and water levels can change##pidorpidor## daily, making paddling much more dangerous than shown.##pidorpidor##
